Google Launches Gemini Agent for Office Work, Can Call Claude

Google Cloud has launched Gemini Agent, a general-purpose office agent designed to handle tasks such as research, email drafting, slide creation, data analysis, and writing and running code. It supports cross-application tool use, can coordinate sub-agents for collaboration, and can dynamically switch between Google's Gemini models and Anthropic's Claude models based on performance, speed, and cost.
