   OpenAI 芯片负责人称不完全信任 AI 参与芯片设计

   OpenAI 硬件负责人 Richard Ho 表示，公司模型曾修改 Jalapeño 芯片部分设计，工程师有时说不清原因，其中一处节省超过 13% 的芯片面积；每次改动仍走完整验证流程。Jalapeño 由 OpenAI 与 Broadcom 合作打造，用于运行模型而非训练，Ho 还为整片处理 prefill 和 decode 的设计辩护，第二版芯片已进入实验室认证阶段。
